Hello everyone. It's morning time in Koh Chang and I've just had my coffee and croissant at Mochacino, a local coffee and Internet cafe. But before the coffee, I had a nice walk on the beach with my husband.
To say that this is a beautiful island would be an understatement. The green forrest of palm trees and lush vegetation form a beautiful backdrop to the shore. The tides are low in the morning and you can actually walk to a small island across from Kai Bae.
At Mochacino, I drink my latte and catch up with my emails. Sooner or later, someone will come in and before you know it, I've made a new acquaintance. This morning I met a sweet girl from Russia who spoke quite good English. She is here with her parents and small sister. She will go to the US in a month or so for a summer semester of college.
Just a few days ago, we drove to the other side of the island for lunch. As we sat on the pier eating fresh fish, rice, pork and chicken, I said outloud, "I could be working right now in a job I didn't like, or I can be here enjoying a life in paradise!" How did I make this happen?
That's what it coming up in my new blog series, Travels with MISS O.
